What is the Advanced Learning Programme (ALP)?
The Advanced Learning Programme (ALP) is designed for academically strong students in Grade 9–10. It offers an enriched, accelerated curriculum with deeper content and higher expectations than the standard stream, aimed at students with advanced academic potential.
Does CM specialise in the ALP curriculum?
Yes — our teachers understand the exact expectations, pacing, and depth of ALP. We do not teach generic content; we teach to the ALP level of rigour that students are actually assessed against in school.
Which IB Math courses do you support in Grade 11–12?
We support MCR3U, MHF4U, MCV4U, IB Math SL (AA & AI), and IB Math HL (AA). We also provide structured support for Internal Assessments (IA) across SL and HL.
Can my child move from ALP (Grade 9–10) to IB (Grade 11–12) with the same team?
Yes — students can continue with the same teaching team from ALP into IB Math. This continuity avoids re-onboarding, ensures consistency, and allows the teacher to deeply understand your child’s learning style over time.
Do you provide IA (Internal Assessment) support?
Yes — IA support is included for IB students. We help with topic selection, structure, rubric understanding, and draft feedback. The IA carries 20% of the final IB grade, so we treat it as a core part of the program.
Why is the group limited to only 2 students?
ALP and IB students need deeper discussion and more feedback per problem. With only 2 students, both get full attention, active participation, and near 1-on-1 learning outcomes at a group price.
Are payment plans available?
Yes — flexible payment plans are available for both Group ($1,000) and Individual ($1,500) options. You can set this up after booking your free trial class.
Where are the sessions conducted?
All sessions are delivered live online, allowing us to support students across Canada. In-person options may be available in select locations depending on demand.
