What Ontario Families Are Saying

Real experiences from Grade 3–8 students who improved confidence, mastered curriculum gaps, and performed better in EQAO and classroom assessments.

EQAO Grade 3 · Ottawa
★★★★★
"My son was anxious about the Grade 3 EQAO. His CM teacher built the skills and test familiarity together over 12 weeks — he went in confidently and the results were excellent. More importantly, he actually understands his Grade 3 Math now."

Parent · Grade 3 · Ottawa
EQAO Grade 6 · Mississauga

"My daughter had gaps in fractions and ratios before Grade 6 EQAO. CM rebuilt those concepts from scratch. Her results were in the top band and her classroom teacher noticed the improvement immediately."

FAQ

Common Questions

What specific topics do you cover for each grade?
Every session follows the Ontario Ministry of Education Mathematics curriculum for the relevant grade — the same content listed on ca.ixl.com. Grade 3 covers fractions to tenths, multiplication facts, and area; Grade 6 covers integers, ratios, and one-step algebra; Grade 8 covers rational numbers, the Pythagorean theorem, and linear equations.
Do you prepare for EQAO assessments in Grades 3 and 6?
Yes — EQAO preparation is built into our Grade 3 and Grade 6 programmes. We build genuine mathematical understanding against the Ontario curriculum first, then add test-format familiarity so students approach EQAO confidently.
My child is in Grade 5 and struggling with improper fractions. Can you help?
Yes — fractions are one of the most common challenges in Grades 4–6. We find exactly where understanding broke down and rebuild from there. Grade 5 covers improper fractions and mixed numbers; we address both.
Is Grade 8 too early to prepare for MTH1W?
No — Grade 8 is exactly the right time. MTH1W assumes strong foundations in integers, algebraic expressions, and geometry from Grades 7–8. Our Grade 8 Bridge programme fills every gap before September.
