How to Message Your Teacher on the Concept Mastery Portal

Staying in touch with your child’s teacher is simple with the Communication channel in the Concept Mastery student portal. This guide walks you through all three channels and shows you how to send a message or upload homework.

Steps:

1. Log in to the student portal and open the Communication channel.
2. You’ll see three channels. Choose the one that matches your message:
   • Feedback Channel — ask about your child’s progress, share concerns, and read feedback from the teacher.
   • Makeup Class — communicate about class cancellations and rescheduling makeup classes.
   • Classwork and Homework — check homework shared by the teacher, upload completed homework, and ask questions about assignments.
3. Open the channel you need and type your message. Your message goes directly to the teacher through this channel. To attach a homework file, click the plus sign, add a title, click the attach file icon, select the file from your computer, and upload it. Keep “Notify everyone via email” checked, then click Send.
