Steps:
- Start by subtracting the one’s place column.
- If the top number is smaller than the bottom number, then you need to borrow one ten from the ten’s place.
- Subtract one from the ten’s place number, and then add ten to the one’s place
- Now you can finish subtracting the one’s place.
- Now subtract the ten’s place column.
